The Gerogerigegege

possibly one of the funniest things ever. a 118 song 7'' thats barely 10 minutes long and with the song titles all running through the letter "G" in alphabetic order. we start with "G" and end with "gynecologist" with many different interpretations of the "get ___ ." following a countoff, a blast of sound ensues, usually lasting about 5 or 6 seconds. juntaro's count offs start getting rather long winded by the middle of the second side and it just gets funnier and funnier. one can hear the sound of a drum machine somewhere in the mix as well. the cover art contains the same format as the 'endless humiliation' cd, substituting a picture of an old man masturbating. this is a gero 7'' worth tracking down.
put out by the italian S.O.A. records 1993.

Residents

Duck Stab/Buster & Glen

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Duck Stab!/Buster and Glen is an album released in 1978 by The Residents. The Duck Stab! portion was a seven-song EP released earlier in 1978 featuring shorter songs similar to the first side of Fingerprince. Buster and Glen was meant to be a follow-up EP, but instead was included on LP with a re-mixed version of the former release.

Due to the shorter length of the songs, the album was more accessible for fans who had recently heard "Satisfaction", and songs like "Constantinople" and "Hello Skinny" helped cement the band's cult following. This album also features some of the best guitar work that Philip "Snakefinger" Lithman did with the group.

Man Man is an American experimental rock band from Philadelphia. Their style has been compared to a mixture of Tom Waits, Frank Zappa, and Captain Beefheart. Man Man is known for their distinctive live shows where the members of the band dress in white tennis outfits and don war paint. During their sets the band does not take breaks between songs in order to keep a constant energy level. Prior to settling on Man Man, the band was named Gamelon and briefly Magic Blood.

Man Man has announced that they will start recording a new album in February.

Six Demon Bag is the second album by experimental rock group Man Man.

The album was placed on Obscure Sound's best albums of 2006 at number 34.

Felt(murs and slug)

Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

Felt is a collaboration between emcees Murs (Nick Carter) and Slug (Sean Daley). The group has released two albums so far, with the first one being produced by Murs' fellow Living Legends member The Grouch and the second one with Slugs long time beat maker ANT behind the boards.

Felt, Vol 2: A Tribute to Lisa Bonet is the second tribute album. This time the dedication is to former The Cosby Show and A Different World star Lisa Bonet. This album, as well as the first collaboration from these two, was spawned from a tour bus argument about whether Slug or Murs had a better chance of getting with Lisa Bonet.

Sigh

Imaginary Sonicscape is not a traditional black metal album in sense. As with much of the later Sigh albums, this album verges on experimental tendencies. Some examples of this would be during the third quarter of the of "Scarlet Dream" the track drops the metal sound completely and develops a dub reggae type sound. Another song on the album, "A Sunset Song", has a similar change half way through the song where it develops a disco-funk sound.
